The Farmers

I am a stay at home, hardworking mother and a helpmeet to my adoring husband.  He is a hardworking, lovable father and husband.  We just had a little girl, Euphemia (oct. ’07) (means of “Good Report”, see philippians 4:8) and she is a cuddable, loveable piglet.  Our second born, a son, was named Stephen.    We live in the desert (hence, the sodbusters), we dream of living on a farm but know the possibilities of that are slim to none.  We are old Christians, which means, we sing the old hymns, very conservative (no vaccines) and enjoy a evening of reading Sherlock Holmes, Horatio Hornblower, Jane Austen,  or some other old classic.  We would rather take an evening walk than sit in front of a television but we do enjoy a night or two of those.  Yep, we are your average boring couple.  But people seem to like us.

On this blog I try to share some of the frugal shopping finds I can find,  Gluten free living,  learning to be a mom,  Learning to homeschool, basically, just learn to be the wife/mother God wants me to be. :)

  2. Hi Challice,

Thank you so much for the lovely note you sent earlier this week (15th of January). It meant a lot to receive such encouragement during this difficult period of life. The bookmark was cute too!

Give Miss Emma a kiss for me, please :)

    Regards,
