So, I have these lovely set of chairs. I have had them for about 3 years. they need re-upholstering. I haven’t done it. Always afraid to mess something up. Well today I succumbed. You know it’s bad when your daughter can start picking at the padding. So I bought some fabric, bribed begged Mumsie for some help and turned this;
into something a little more like this;
I do have a more finished picture but I need to still upload it and it’s getting late. However, I am very pleased with the work and so is hubby!!!!!!!!

How neat! My mom used to re-upholster and it added to the mystique of the mom who could do anything :). I still have a chair that she did in ultra-1970s colours that doesn’t match anything but it is hard to think of covering it up.
